What I did

I participated in a semester-long intercultural and interdisciplinary learning experience called a mosaic.  I took all of my classes focusing on climate change in Nepal from different academic lenses.  This culminated in a research trip to Nepal where I worked with a team of my classmates and Nepali graduate students to conduct interviews with local leaders and agricultural workers; our focus landed mainly on water stress.  I then compiled the data and wrote a paper on findings with my team.

What I did

I spent a semester living and studying in Copenhagen.  During this time I lived with a host family and immersed myself in Danish society.  I was able to travel Europe to expand my cultural understanding. While in Copenhagen I took the following courses.

Clean Energy

What I did

While studying in Copenhagen, I became fascinated with clean energy.  I was thrilled by the way Danish society and politics interacted with the need for climate action.  Since returning from Copenhagen I have taken every opportunity to learn more about clean energy in a Massachusetts context.  I have investigated clean energy by reading academic literature and books on the subject as well as through self-directed projects in the following courses.
